Skin, scarring and hair concerns, and recovery after an aesthetic procedure.

Clear information for your next conversation.

What Is Aesthetic & Recovery Care?

Aesthetic and recovery care focuses on the skin, hair, scarring, and the recovery period after dermatological or aesthetic procedures. Because hair loss, acne scarring, and post-procedure skin changes can have different causes, assessment comes before any recommendation.

Skin and scarring Texture, visible changes, and individual healing history
Hair concerns Thinning and shedding assessed before planning
Recovery window Support considered around procedure timing and follow-up

Frequently Asked Questions

No. No consultation can guarantee new growth, density, or that scarring will disappear. The evidence varies by cause and by approach, and anyone promising you a result is selling rather than assessing.
Often yes, and we will tell you when the answer is yes. Sudden, patchy, painful or scarring hair loss, active or severe acne, keloid risk, or a recent procedure that is not healing normally all belong with a dermatologist before anything else is considered.
Ask the clinician who performed it first, because their instructions take priority. If you have increasing pain, drainage, spreading redness or fever, go back to them now. Where healing is progressing normally, the provider will ask what was done and when before discussing anything.
Assessment. Hair loss has several causes, and a licensed provider reviews your history, the pattern, your medication and relevant health factors before anything is recommended.
The difference is the sequence. Everything begins with a consultation and a medical screening that a licensed provider must complete, and a provider can decide that nothing is appropriate. Dermatology and procedural follow-up continue as they are.
Yes. Bring the history of how the scarring formed and what has already been done. The provider explains what can realistically be assessed and what cannot, and no specific result is guaranteed.
